For almost a decade, I’ve been working with clients, helping them look and feel better through the discipline of strength training.
My wholistic approach allows me to deliver the stern hand of traditional weight lifting while having a compassionate understanding of my clients trials and tribulations as a result of my own journey through addiction.
Having struggled with addiction myself, I understand the importance of discipline and care towards my own mental health and state of well being that is required to live a happy, healthy lifestyle. I have found strength training to be an amazing vehicle to support such change. I have combined 8 years of competing in Strongman and powerlifting which has provided me with the best lived experience to support my clients with training systems that help them reach their goals.
The gym can be an intimidating environment for many. I aim to provide structure, accountability and customized fitness programming to ensure that my clients can have the same changing benefits to their confidence that the gym had for me.
I’m Eli, a New York native now residing in Austin.

My Approach
The First pillar is an Assessment. We will get an idea of your current fitness level and experience with weight lifting. We will cover any past injuries and conduct a short movement screen used for me to help assess what exercises will be most beneficial to you.
The Second pillar is Custom Fitness Programming. Based on your assessment lifestyle and goals, I will customize a fitness plan specifically for you. If you decide on an online program, your fitness regimen will be delivered through an app (TrueCoach) on your phone with video demonstrations of each exercise. You will track your weights/sets/reps in the app and upload videos of yourself performing the exercises. You will receive feedback and form checks weekly and you will be able to directly message me in the app for feedback/guidance.
The Third pillar is Nutrition. What we are going to do here is find the appropriate amount of calories, protein, carbs and fat you need to be eating per day, to achieve your specific goals.
We will factor any food preferences or dietary requirements. I will provide you macro suggestions so that you know what you need to eat and how much, so that you are not playing a guessing game with it.
Frequently Asked Questions
I have been diagnosed with menopause and I have very low energy, can I still train with you?
— Yes! Menopause isn’t your cue to stop moving, it’s your reason to start. This is a great time to prioritize mobility, stretching and joint health. It is more important to train effectively and not excessively as to reduce cortisol spikes. As women age, they naturally lose muscle mass and strength training helps preserve and build muscle which is crucial for maintaining strength, mobility and overall physical function.
My father is 60 years old and losing mobility as he ages, should he still weight train?
Strength training can be incredibly beneficial for maintaining mobility, balance, and overall function as we age. A well-designed program can help older adults preserve muscle mass, improve joint stability, and enhance movement quality, all of which contribute to greater independence and a higher quality of life.
That said, every individual has unique needs and considerations. Before starting a strength training program, it’s important that he consults with his healthcare provider to ensure it’s appropriate for him. If he gets the green light, I can design a safe, progressive strength training program tailored to his abilities and goals, focusing on functional movements that support everyday activities.
I am recovering from an injury, how can you help me get back on track?
— Recovering from an injury requires a strategic approach that balances rebuilding strength, improving mobility, and avoiding re-injury. I focus on personalized strength training programs that are tailored to your specific recovery needs. We’ll start with movement assessments to identify imbalances, then gradually progress with exercises that restore function while keeping you safe. My approach emphasizes proper mechanics, mobility work, and gradual load progression to help you regain confidence and strength in a sustainable way.
Please note that while I can help guide your recovery through strength training, I do not provide medical advice or treatment. If you have a serious or ongoing injury, I recommend consulting with a healthcare professional before starting a training program.
Is Lifting an effective strategy for anti-aging?
— Absolutely! Strength training is one of the most effective ways to slow the aging process and maintain a high quality of life. Lifting helps preserve muscle mass, improve bone density, boost metabolism, and enhance joint health—all of which naturally decline with age. It also supports brain function, hormone balance, and overall resilience. My training programs are designed to build functional strength so you can move better, stay active, and feel strong at any age.
